A large format, two cabinet active loudspeaker. The Super Horn combines a large 12" woofer on the bottom, with a horn loaded compression driver above to cover the full range of frequencies. This is a big, bold statement speaker for at home or in-venue listening. Hand-crafted in the wood veneer of your choice, with the same quality of joins and finish that you'd expect from a high end item of wooden furniture. The 'active' in active loudspeakers means that these speakers already come loaded with powerful amplifiers and all the clever digital kit required. All you'll need to do is plug them into the power, pick your source, and start the immediate toe-tapping.

Deep, detailed
sound
A two-cabinet active speaker. The Hypex FA253 amp and DSP sit inside the woofer cabinet and do the crossover, EQ and time alignment, so there's no separate box of electronics to buy or fiddle with. The horn is an AudioHorn X-33, which spreads the sound across the room instead of aiming it at one chair. Everything is tuned at the workshop before it ships, so the speakers arrive ready to play.
12" neodymium woofer
Eminence Kappalite 3012HO Neo. A light cone and a neodymium magnet, rated at 100.5 dB, which means it gets loud without much power behind it. It covers everything up to 1,650 Hz.
1" compression driver
A B&C DE 360 sitting on the AudioHorn X-33 horn. The horn spreads the high frequencies evenly across the room rather than beaming them at one seat, so it sounds about the same wherever you sit.
Active DSP, onboard
A Hypex FA253, built into the woofer cabinet. It splits the signal, tidies up the response and lines the two drivers up in time. We set all of it at the workshop, so there's nothing for you to configure.

That's the woofer's rating. In a normal room you'll be using a watt or two at most, even when it's properly loud.
Inputs · five ways in
XLR, RCA, AES, S/PDIF and Toslink. Whatever you're playing music from, one of these will connect to it.

500 watts to the woofer, 100 to the horn. It's far more than you'll use at home, but the extra headroom means it never sounds strained when you turn it up.

N° 02 · The cabinet
Baltic birch.
Our master carpenter uses baltic birch plywood to construct each box. It’s really important to us that our speakers feel like high end furniture as well as be functional. Our design and manufacture process strives to use the same high quality joints, tight tolerances, and finishes that you’d expect from bespoke wooden furniture. The majority wood construction means they even smell like new wooden furniture when you first get them out of the box.

Do I need a separate amplifier?
No. The Hypex FA253 amp is already inside the woofer cabinet, doing the crossover, EQ and time alignment for you. You just plug it into the wall, connect a source and put something on.
