12" neodymium woofer
The large, light woofer cone and a neodymium magnet means this speaker can move a lot of air really efficiently. You get loud, detailed, and deep bass with very little power.
1" compression driver
A carefully shaped constant-directivity horn spreads the high frequency sound evenly across the room rather than aiming it at any one seat. It also helps the high frequencies blend seamlessly with the woofer.
Baltic birch plywood, your chosen veneer.
Thick 21mm Baltic birch plywood ensures this speaker lasts just like a high quality bespoke item of wooden furniture. The high density of plywood prevents the wood from 'ringing' and affecting the sound.
100.5 dB / 1 W / 1 m
In short this means the speaker is really loud. We wanted to create something that sounded and looked great for in-home listening, but can comfortably fill an entire house or venue to get your friends dancing.
Active, bi-amplification
We've included a very high-end amplifier and digital signal processing unit in each speaker. These amplifiers deliver 500 W to the woofer, 100 W to the horn. The crossover, EQ and time alignment are tuned by hand for each individual speaker, so there's nothing left to set up other than to plug them in and start playing.
