Made to order

The smallest speaker in the Estro range — but no less considered for it. A 4" coaxial driver delivers a point-source sound image in a compact cabinet small enough to live on a shelf, desk, or kitchen worktop. An onboard smart amplifier handles WiFi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect, so it connects to everything. Same Baltic birch plywood construction and wood veneer finish as the rest of the range.

Life with the cube

Bring back the joy.

The Cube is the one that ends up in the kitchen, on the desk, or on the shelf by the front door. Same wood, same care as the big ones — just small enough that you stop thinking about where to put it.

Let’s get down to the details

Deep, detailed
sound

A compact coaxial smart speaker: single cabinet, single driver, and an onboard amplifier that handles WiFi, Bluetooth, AirPlay and Spotify Connect. Same Baltic birch plywood and wood veneer finish as the rest of the range.

Coaxial point-source driver

The woofer and tweeter share a single axis, producing a coherent, time-aligned image from a small enclosure.

Smart amp onboard

WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and DLNA — no receiver or external hardware needed.

Compact form factor

190 × 160 × 160mm. Fits a desk, a shelf, or a kitchen worktop.

One driver, one axisTweeter at the centreOiled veneer, 12mm plyThe Cube in oak, front three-quarter, dark studio

Passive internal crossover

The tweeter section is crossed over inside the coaxial unit itself, so there's no active crossover complexity.

Premium construction

12mm Baltic birch plywood, wood veneer, oiled finish — the same materials as the rest of the range.

In detail

The Cube,
up close.

190 mm tall and 160 mm across, so it fits where a proper speaker normally can't — a kitchen shelf, a desk, the console by the front door. The cabinet is built the same way as the big ones, just less of it.

Baltic birch.

Our master carpenter uses baltic birch plywood to construct each box. It’s really important to us that our speakers feel like high end furniture as well as be functional. Our design and manufacture process strives to use the same high quality joints, tight tolerances, and finishes that you’d expect from bespoke wooden furniture. The majority wood construction means they even smell like new wooden furniture when you first get them out of the box.

“I wanted to create a bad-ass looking, retro-inspired, wooden speaker that wouldn’t stick out in my living room. But also a speaker which sounded f*cking awesome”

Every cabinet is built by hand by our master carpenter, Christian. Christian splits his time between building high end furniture concepts and cabins, and helping realise the Estro vision. Once we’re happy with the enclosure, the speakers are sent for assembly and testing with Dave in Lisbon. The electronic parts are carefully installed into the enclosure, and once sealed, Dave tunes each speaker against a reference curve and by ear.

Do I need an amplifier or a receiver?
No. The amplifier is inside the cabinet, and it does the streaming too — WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and DLNA. Plug it into the wall and send it some music.
Can I buy just one?
What's a coaxial driver, and why does it matter?
How small is it, really?
Which woods can I have it in?
